O paradoxo dos zumbis

Les concepts de "monde-sans-nous" et "nous-sans-monde", forgés par Eduardo Viveiros de Castro et Déborah Danowski dans l'œuvre "Há mundo por vir?" (2017), lorsqu'ils sont liés aux zombies cinématographiques - des créatures défiant la différenciation cartésienne entre res cogitans et res extensa en raison de leur absence de conscience, c'est-à-dire, leur incapacité à reconnaître le monde - suscitent la question : à quoi ressemblerait-il, empruntant la formulation de Giorgio Agamben (2006), s'il n'y avait ni monde ni humains, sans que pour autant l'écosystème et l'espèce cessent d'exister ? Est-il possible d'avoir un monde-sans-nous ou nous-sans-monde sans la différenciation entre Nature et Culture ? L'hypothèse que j'ai l'intention d'explorer tout au long de ce texte est que, en enquêtant sur les concepts proposés, on pourrait en conclure que les figures cinématographiques contemporaines des zombies existent parce qu'elles mobilisent les mêmes concepts dualistes utilisés pour différencier et hiérarchiser des êtres qui ont influencé leur genèse dans le folklore post-colonial d'Haïti. Pour répondre à ces questions, je propose une enquête sur les concepts de "nous", "monde" et "reconnaissance".
