Of means and ends: the role of virtues in achieving of good life

Abstract

In this paper the author aims to explain which the human action, according to Aristotle, could be discussed by “mean-end” scheme, since we have the virtue as the human good. The text intend to examine how this connection can be distorted and the results obtained if the agent does not has this good as the end of his actions. The virtue in this case will be presented as the good activity of the soul.
