This article aims to show the relationship between the beautiful and the virtue of justice. Based on some of Plato's works and Aristotle's ethical theory, I intend to argue that
the virtues are independent of a divine order and that they are elements of a human order and indispensable in any political and social context. The relationship between the virtue of justice and the laws will also be discussed, the virtue of justice with equity and, finally, the possible origins of pleonexia and why it prevents the virtue of justice, in short, equity.
