Gestell, truth, virtual reality, modern technique, contemporary technology.Abstract
We aim to show that Heidegger’s interpretation of modern techniques is still valid in clarifying how contemporary technology is structured phenomenologically. Our challenge will be to demonstrate how the concept of Gestell, i.e., of composition between assurance in beings and the experience of being, which determines the truth and the reality of beings in modern techniques, also structures the truth and the virtual reality produced by Artificial Intelligence (IA) in contemporary technology.
