The article addresses questions about the act of reading philosophical texts as they were worked on in a discipline of the undergraduate course in Philosophy at UFF. From the proposal that a text can be seen as a scene, in which an enunciator addresses an addressee talking about something or someone, we report some activities proposed during the course and the unfolding of the theme of reading as an event in itself meaningful, and not a simple instrument for obtaining content.We emphasize the perceptual or corporeal aspect of the act of placing oneself as a participant in the scene. Authors of contemporary hermeneutics, such as Hans-Georg Gadamer and Paul Ricoeur, and critical continuators of it, such as Hans Gumbrecht and Paul Zumthor, were mobilized.
