About the Journal
Focus and Scope
Revista Enunciação, founded in 2016, is an official semestral publication of the Graduate Program in Philosophy of the Universidade Federal Rural do Rio de Janeiro (PPGFIL-UFRRJ), Brazil.
Our mission is to publish quality and relevant texts written by doctors, masters, or graduate students in Philosophy from Brazil and abroad. We publish original articles, reviews of recent works and translations of classical texts.
This journal offers immediate free access to its content, following the principle that making scientific knowledge available to the public free of charge provides greater worldwide democratization of knowledge.
Revista Enunciação has no specific doctrinal or thematic option, however the researchers responsible for the editions will always aim to preserve the rigor of the conceptual/argumentative language that must characterize philosophical thinking.
Created by members of the PPGFIL-UFRRJ faculty, Revista Enunciação is linked to the publishing house of the same Program and shares the same editorial committee. Eventually, external editors are invited to organize thematic issues.
Peer Review Process
The works sent to the journal will be evaluated by the double-blind peer review system, which means that the texts are sent to the reviewers without any information that can identify the author, as well as the identity of the reviewers is not revealed to the authors. In this way, the texts are sent to two external reviewers, each of whom will inform whether the text should be published with changes or not.
